Parks

The Town of Falkville offers two parks:

  • Jack McCaig Park
  • Bobby Brewer Field

Jack McCaig Park – Located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and West Second Street.

Jack McCaig Park was built around 1984 and dedicated in memory of Jack McCaig in 1997. Mr. McCaig was a three term council member for the Town of Falkville and business owner (McCaig's Grocery) for more than 22 years.

Jack McCaig Park is known for holding the annual 'Christmas in the Park' on the first Sunday in December. Christmas in the Park is hosted by Falkville Community Pride. The newly renovated JackMcCaig Park is free to the public. The park is open daily during daylight hours and closes at dark.
